Manny Katts
Manny Katts is a talented and highly respected Australian actor with over 20 years experience in Australian Television. Manny's acting experience is supported through his formal training at the Australia's Actor Centre. He studied under Dean Carey and Adrian Barnes for theatre and drama. Furthermore Manny has also been studying under Pat Wilson for voice and musical theatre. Manny's commitment is to continuously drive him to develop his skills by participating in courses such as Ivana Chubbuck "The power of the Actor" work shop.
Manny Katts as a unique actor who brings passion, vulnerability, fire, presence, charm and mischief to his acting, both onscreen and onstage. I first met Manny back in 1987 when we were fellow cast members on the multimillion dollar Australian rock musical Rasputin, directed by Emmy- award winning director Stephen Hopkins (Lost in Space 2, Californication, 24) which also starred Terry Serio and Jon English. Manny’s many TV credits include White Collar Blue, Heartbreak High, A Country Practice, G.P., Police Rescue, and a series regular role on the Grundy Television series Richmond Hill. On stage, his credits include The Heartbreak Kid, Tony and Tina’s Wedding and The Great Divide. More recently, Manny has been studying with me doing private sessions and also workshops. Manny is an experienced and dedicated actor who is tremendously watchable. He is also a caring and warm-hearted human being and a pleasure to work with. Together with his strong acting ability Manny has developed other technical and practical skills. Some skills are Martial Artists under the tuition of Sifu Paul Goulding (Trained under Grand Master William Chung), Acrobatics and Boxing under Ben Maroney, chairman of Australian Sport Acrobatics and Boxing coach. Cycling under the tuition of Barrie McLean.
